Err ya, been busy with lots of things all at once, cannot compute…
Corporate shoots, portrait, family, wedding, charity concert, and now in the middle of commercial shoot…so where are the pictures?…well can’t post most of them as I don’t post work I do for corporate and commercial due to my license agreement.
Someone asked me two days ago, do I consider myself a wedding shooter?
I don’t classify myself as purely a wedding photographer per se as I enjoy other types of photography as much; I spend as much time exploring. To me it’s not a question of which type of photography I enjoy more but what skills can I improve on and gather next whether technically or editing wise and translate back to my wedding photography. There are elements from other genres which I have embraced into my work. Like most things photography is pretty subjective, I love creating artsy/’fashy’ shots like below and I’m aware that when I include that as part of my work, it becomes a love or hate affair, my work won’t fit some clients. Some would like it and some, not their cup of tea definitely, I respect that. Just have to be sure my clients don’t ask me why I take pictures of shoes lol (……if I spent $500 on a pair, I would want a picture of them
). There’s no One Size(photographer) that fits All (clients) solution.
