Trying out this background I bought for a project coming out. Not too keen on the faint shadow but don’t want to use two lights either. Will give this another go with the light higher and different shooting perspective.

Waited quite a bit to get hold of this lens and possibly the 1st one in Brunei?…well not that I want an award or recognition for that .. need this lens for a personal project which is likely to take me a year for completion or maybe slightly less depending on the time I can spare . We’ll see

Was at a recent photoshoot and a guest shouted out ‘basar jua’ , referring to this lens..indeed it is one big S lens, definitely my fav lens. Renders excellent skin tones, beautiful out of focus areas and gorgeous colours, what’s not to like right….except for the weight.

Sent this lens in for servicing few months back as the focusing motor was badly in need of resurrection , cost me more than $700 just for repair alone :XXX . Got it back almost 2 weeks ago, good as NEW!!! The bottom three are images captured by this beast.

Lego partnered with Digital Blue to come up with this digital camera. Expected to be available in Summer 09 (late June) . Maybe I can include these in my gear, so I’ll stand out from the crowd when shooting weddings ;P ..(I’m sure the pictures from this little monster will stand out as well )
